Norah and Daddy at the Beach
We decided to go down to the beach one last time before leaving the next day.
At the Park
Kari and Chiara took a walk to the park with Jadon and Norah while some of the others went ocean fishing.
Uncle Bill's Pancake House
Uncle Bill, Aunt Kari, and Cousin Jadon pose for a picture in front of Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Cape May, NJ. Unfortunately, it had already closed for the season.
Tandem
Peter and James rode an old, rusty tandem bicycle into downtown Stone Harbor, to meet up with some of the others who had gone ahead to window browse.

Enjoying the Sun and Sand
October is obviously the off-season for tourists. We were really lucky to have beautiful weather and it was never too cold.
We went a few years ago and it was rainy most of the time. In fact, that trip (among others) has led us to believe that Chiara and myself bring the rain whenever we go on vacation.
The Bright Sun!
The sun was causing Norah to close her eyes for pictures. She still had a great time!

We ate a lot of meals at about this time. The house my grandparents rented for the month was right on the beach and the view was fantastic.

It seems like when a camera is brought out, that becomes the new focal point and the babies stop whatever they're doing.
Norah Meets Cousin Jadon
Norah meets her Daddy's cousin Jadon Hemsley. Jadon was sick with a cold most of the weekend :-(
Overall, though both Norah and Jadon were curious about their surroundings and had a good time.
Norah on the Plane
We flew to New Jersey at the beginning of October to spend some time with Norah's Great Grandparents and Grandpa and Grandma Hemsley. Norah did very well on the plane, and didn't make a fuss.

Sorry for the Delay!
We have had computer problems and busy lives these past couple of months. Hence, no blog pictures of the family band. I hope that you will stay patient with us and keep checking back. It is on the list of things to do this weekend!
