We went to Modena for a day last week. It was really a fun day. Modena is where Balsamic Vinegar comes from, and since we ALL love Balsamic Vinegar in the Family Band, we just HAD to go there. Plus, James' cousin Serena was in Italy on a mission trip, and we wanted to meet her while she was in Modena. So, we packed the kids into the family band-wagon, and off we went! Modena is a cute little town with lots of these porticoes in the downtown area.
