Here is Norah talking about the cast, which comes off (hopefully!) on Wednesday morning! Yeah! I can't wait to give her a real bath and wash her the RIGHT way!
All in all, it hasn't been that bad with the cast. She has adapted well to it, and I hope that she will "re-adapt" to walking when she has it taken off. She is excited to go to the doctor to take it off. I hope that they will get us in and out more quickly than last time. Enjoy the video.

She's quick!
Here is a video of Norah 3 weeks into the cast-wearing. She can move surprisingly quickly now! When I am downstairs, I will hear "boom!....slide...boom!...slide" and I know she is coming to find me! You'll know what I mean when you see the video.

Pay Aminals!
Norah loves to "Pay Aminals" (Play Animals) with anyone who will oblige! She is very particular about who goes in the ark, who gets to sit on the iceberg (only the polar bear and penguins), and who drives the truck (I found a chicken driving the truck one day!).
Baby Judy
Here are Norah and Baby Judy playing. Norah loves to feed the baby, and put her down for a nap (which usually involves Norah sucking on the baby's bottle, and then throwing her into her cradle--she has a little to learn about being nurturing, I guess!). Baby Judy often gets dragged around the house to experience life with Norah. We find Baby Judy in the oddest places! We found her (Baby Judy) sitting up by herself on the bottom stair one day--spooky!
Blast off!
Norah loves the show, "Little Einsteins", and she sings along with the characters as they prepare to blast off in their rocket. Here she is doing the motions for "Blast Off!"
Bath Time (after the screaming!)
We had to give Norah another dreaded sink bath, and boy, does she have a set of lungs on her!
Here she is in her "rote" (robe) after the bath, posing with Mama. She loves that robe!
Cuddle time
After dinner one day, Norah said to James: "Daddy cuddle you couch" (i.e., Daddy, I want to cuddle with you on the couch"). So, James was more than happy to oblige. They cuddled for about 15 minutes before she became impatient to go on to the next activity.
Relaxin'
Norah has been doing a lot of relaxing since breaking her leg. I wonder if she will go back to her busy-body self, or if she will stay so mellow and content to sit on the sofa. Something tells me she will forget the sofa exists when this darn cast comes off next Wednesday!

Getting Around
Norah has been remarkably mobile for having her entire left leg in a cast. Here is a little video showing how she gets around. She doesn't seem bothered by it at all unless it gets caught on something.
