Holding Her Head Up
Now that Norah is a month old, she is really doing well holding her head up. In this series of pictures, she was holding it up for a couple of minutes and looking around.
Bath Time Again
She's really beginning to like baths. This was Chiara and me attempting to give her a bath in the tub. I think we'll stick to the little baby bath in the future.

Time Flies...
Norah is growing so fast; it is hard to believe that she is already more than 3 weeks old. I think time has flown so quickly--and it is because we are having such fun! Here are the things I have liked best about the last three weeks:
1) Taking her home from the hospital
2) Giving her a bath and not having her scream the whole time
3) Looking at Norah after a feeding--when she is satiated and content--and interacting with her.
4) Seeing Norah's eyes follow me across a room--her vision is much better now.
5) Making Norah smile by touching her ear--it works almost every time (EXCEPT when I have a camera)
6) Seeing James have fun with Norah and be able to calm her down when she is fussy
7) Seeing my parents and sister meet Norah
I know that she will only become more responsive and interactive as time goes by--but I think that I will miss this stage later when she is crawling all over the place and getting into things she shouldn't get into. I am trying to savor it while I am here and she is here.

Tummy Time
I promise Norah was smiling at first, but by the time I got the camera, she had begun to get frustrated.
Sideways Smile
It's hard to catch Norah either smiling or making her "surprised" face. Chiara and I still have fun trying, though.
Current Events Anger Norah
Keeping up on current events, Norah became very angry. She was later consoled by the recent nod from the Fed that interest rates will stay the same.

Amanda Visits
Amanda was very kind and brought over a dinner one night. As payment, all she wanted was to hold Norah!
The Neglect-o-matic
This great present from Norah's Grandma, has now been dubbed by Chiara, "Neglect-o-matic."
All kidding aside, it does a great job at calming her down.
Wei Comes for a Visit
Wei Wu, a friend of ours, who happens to be Chinese, came over for a visit. Her boyfriend, Luo Xi, was feeling bad and was unable to come over. Maybe next time!
Vince and Maria Arrive
Vince and Maria stay with us for a week, helping Chiara and I around the house. Mostly, they wanted to see Norah.
