One of the major and most noticeable things Grandpa and Oma helped with was putting the light fixture in the recently painted bathroom, and also framing out the mirror so it looks more inviting.
Here is a list of the other things they (we) did:
built a screen for one of our front windows
fixed the front door weather stripping and added a latch
built frame for mirror and world map (next photo)
hung light fixture
painted porch posts
planted vegetables and flowers
hung new blinds in our bedroom
fixed a snow shovel that was broken
fixed the deck boards that were loose
replaced thermostat
And so much more! All in about 1 week! Thanks Dad and Maria!
